Regata MARINADA 2008

Regatta for Open class and J24 will take place between Izola (start) and Portorož (finish). For the first time after 10 years of being in nautical business Burin Yachting Club (BYC) has decided to organize such an event.

BURIN YC in cooperation with Slovenian Sailing Federation and is responsible for technical organization of the regatta. To make the regatta really big we invite all sailors to enter the regatta and timely get their copy of the regatta program.

Friday 05.00 pm: Amfora in Marina Izola - Taking the starting numbers, instructions, T-shirt
07.00 pm: Amfora in Marina Izola - Meeting registered teams and formal opening of Regatta

IZOLA

Saturday 07.30 am: Welcoming of the competitors and judges, assignment of the sailors to the sailboats and distribution of instructions
08.00 am: Sailboats take over and last minute entries fot regatta in Marina Izola peer
09.30 am: End of last minute entries in Marina Izola
09.45 am: Skippers meeting
11.55 am: Warning signal for regatta start in front of Marina Izola
12.00 am: START OF THE REGATTA (IZOLA–PORTOROŽ)

PORTOROŽ

Finish of the regatta is in front of the main peer in Portorož
04.00 pm: End of the regatta (time limit for sailboats to arrive to marina Portorož is 04.00 pm)
04.30 pm: Return and inspection of returned sailboats

AUDITORIUM PORTOROŽ

06.00 pm: Congress room, Auditorium – refreshments for competitors, Burin Yachting Club members, competitors, sponsors and journalists
07.00 pm: Results announcement of MARINADA 2008 regatta with awards ceremony
09.00 pm: OLIVER DRAGOJEVIĆ concert with group DUPINI. His guest will be GIBONNI.
11.30 pm: End of program and After Party - DJ TITO in Caffe Auditorium

The filled out application form shall be submitted to the organizer and the entry fee paid no later then May 10th before 09.30 am. The entry fee is the same for all participating sail boats:

* From 9th – 10th of May on Burin YC stand on Internautica boat show in Portoroz.
